Office Free Weekends
Whew, it’s Friday night. I just got home after spending a long week on the road, scrambling for new business and I really look forward to office free weekends. The little red light on my home office phone is blinking. My part-time clerical assistant’s end-of-the-week voice tells me that a turtle (that’s her cute name for my customers) dropped off a revised purchase order at my formal office (the UPS store next to Walgreens). Cheerily, she says she just wanted me to know and “be sure to have a nice weekend.” I’ll have to trudge back to the “office” and deal with it.
